Oconee Man/Oconee Woman Triathlons

Oconee Man Half will be a single transition half iron distance triathlon.  The event will also feature a sprint distance triathlon.  This event was born out of the Mountains to Main Street Triathlon which has been discontinued due to the difficulties in producing and racing the point to point format.  This event will allow athletes to race in a single transition event while still enjoying the beautiful racing conditions found on Lake Keowee and the surrounding areas.

With over 125 Corvettes expected, and numerous clubs, the pristine shores of Lake Keowee, and the hospitality of The Lighthouse Restaurant and The Cabana Restaurant make for an excellent setting for a gathering of America’s Sports Car!!! Issaqueena's Last Ride

Issaqueena's Last Ride is a challenging, mountain ride through the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and Foothills of South Carolina. 

The three longer rides are highlighted by the climb to Wigington Overlook where one is rewarded with expansive views of Lake Jocassee and the surrounding Carolina Piedmont. The 30 and 52 mile rides stay in the flatter areas of Salem and Tamassee where the roads are gently rolling with no difficult climbs. All routes feature scenic rural roads with little traffic.

Registration fee includes pre-ride coffee and baked goods, post-ride meal, T-Shirt, cue sheets, SAG, and fully stocked rest stops.

Sip ’n Stroll Seneca is an Art Festival and Wine Tasting event scheduled for March 30, 2019 from 11am-5pm on Ram Cat Alley in downtown Seneca. It features an arts and crafts show and wine tasting tent with live entertainment. 

The cost for the Wine Tasting is $10 for four tastings and will begin at noon.

Join us for a compelling lecture featuring the history of the Blue Ridge Railroad.

Dr. Jim Johnson has spent nearly 20 years exploring, documenting, and photographing the history of the Blue Ridge Railroad. He has hiked the right-of-ways, and explored the tunnels, and trestles, and river pilings that once were critical for this venture. The story of the Blue Ridge Railroad is a fascinating history of mechanical ingenuity, financial mismanagement, and sheer human will power.

Dr. Johnson will be selling and signing the NEWLY REVISED edition of his book A History of the Blue Ridge Rail Road.
